(english translation below)
"Niltze!

An important part of decolonization is to liberate ourselves from traditions that without native foundations. Instead, we should replace them with those traditions that are truly synchronized with the forces that nourish life.

To receive and celebrate the Birth of the Hummingbird Sun is a crucial tradition in the process of reconnecting with our ancestral roots. And whether or not we are descendents of Native Americans, our most vital star (the sun) guides & influences everything we do and feel.
The Birth of Huitzilopochtli (the left handed hummingbird) is our Christmas! Let us celebrate with offerings that dignify the strength that the sun provides us and will share the gifts of plants that, nourished by the solar energy, offer us their leaves, flowers, seeds and fruit. Finally, don't forget to share something special with those around you. Sending hugs to everyone!

The Winter Sosltice in Toltec Cultures

Join us at Mahtinauhkalli (the House of 4 Wisdoms) & learn about the important ancestral practice of synchronizing with the cycles of nature, especially in moments as important as the Winter Solstice. We will also learn about the powerful symbolism & rituals used by ancient Tolteca Cultures to harmoniously align our consciousness with the cycles of Nature and the Universe.

This class is being taught because we recognize that now more than ever, we need to reclaim our ancestral knowledge & apply the ancient wisdom to our daily lives, not only to survive but to thrive. We also recognize the importance of consciously being a part of ceremonies and rituals to avoid the dangers of false gurus & charlatans, and instead to create communities of independent thinkers and warriors that take their own self-development & self-healing into their hands.

We invite everyone to join us in the subsequent Winter Solstice Ceremony that we will hold (more info at this lecture) after they have learned the importance of the symbols and rituals that Temachtiani Akaxe Yotzin will be guiding us in.

Because for the past 2 years this class has been taught in Spanish, this year the class will be taught in English. Please let us know if you will need a translator and we will happily arrange for it!

Note: we ask students to take their shoes off upon entering :)
