Join us this Sunday and learn how the native people of Anahuak (these lands called the Americas) studied the cycles of nature so that they could synchronize with them and live in harmony with nature. We will learn how we can learn from nature, even while living in a big city so that we can synchronize with it ourselves.
We will also learn about the cycle that we are currently in, called Ochpaniztli, (literally: when the paths are swept). We will learn why and how this point in the cycle is focused on cleansing ourselves internally and cleansing our surroundings as well. Finally, we will learn how to prepare ourselves and focus ourselves so that we can be as conscious and present as possible to take advantage of this opportunity that mother nature gives us every year. For details, go to our fb event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/194738704271173/ History is repeating and we must give our support. If you cannot go in person to support the DAPL Protesters please help us collect vital supplies that community members will be taking up with them.
This is what we have so far and there is still much more on its way!! If you would like to send supplies up to our native brother & sisters protecting the water in N.D please come drop it off at Mahtinauhkalli today before 7pm 1759 W 21st St Chicago IL 60608 #nodapl #waterislife #waterisahumanright #HonorTheTreaties #NoBakken#SacredStoneCamp #STOPDAPL #MniWiconi #SacredWater #RezpectOurWater#StandWithStandingRock Did you know that the "Day of the Dead" was not a day but 40 Days long? There were two months designated to honor our ancestors and loved ones who have passed away but much more than that as well...
Join us. We will be learning the native meaning & perspective of death as well as a making a communal altar to honor our loved ones. (please bring an item that represents your loved one who has passed away.) https://www.facebook.com/events/162041427535806/ |
