| We are looking forward to the teen Mazehual danza, drumming & Yoatilliztli (martial arts) After School Matters program at Uplift Community High School in Uptown. Program begins tomorrow Monday July 1st and will run for 6 weeks until Aug 8th every Monday through Thursday from 9am - 1pm. Teens can arrive early and receive free breakfast and will also receive lunch every day. Teens should wear comfortable clothing they can stretch and move around in. Plus bring a water bottle if possible! We will be spending days dancing and drumming at parks, community gardens and the beach that are close by. Plus will be learning important life and career skills to make sure you reach your highest potential To register go to: www.afterschoolmatters.org or bring your application to the first day of program. Estamos programando unas series de conferencias y talleres del jueves 20 de Junio hasta el domingo 23 de Junio. Debido a las dimensiones del espacio les aconsejamos adquirir sus boletos con anticipación, asi tambien se restringe la entrada a personas con infantes menores de 10 anos de edad ya que el cupo es muy limitado. We are organizing a series of workshops and seminars between the dates of Thursday June 20 through Saturday June 23.
