We also began new cycles of learning and polishing in a Huiztli/Nakochtli Ritual he conducted. Hueytozoztli Ceremony with LVEJO
We are currently in the Tozoztontli 20-Day Cycle during which our ancestors would only eat a pescatarian diet to allow their bodies to cleanse, nature to renew itself and the animals to reproduce abundantly. During Hueytozoztli the next veintena, they would fast from all animal products as they prepared themselves to begin working with the earth. In line with these ancient traditions, we will be holding a Seed Activating Ceremony at the beginning of May in Little Village for everyone who is heading an urban, community or personal garden in partnership with the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization. Details will be shared later this week. If you or your group are interested in participating please contact us at nahualessons@gmail.com |
