Meditations & Ehekapahtinime (Breathing & Posture Exercises)
The ancient people of the Americas not only created precise sciences of astronomy and mathematics, but of holistic health as well. They created ingenious systems incorporating their knowledge of bioenergy, electro-magnetism, physiology and mental health allowing them to create disciplines that ensured the health of individuals and their society.
Ehekapahtinime (literally that which keeps us healthy and is in the air) is a practice of aligning breath, postures, movement & awareness for healing, meditation and exercise. Not only is it a beautiful way to connect with ancestral wisdom but provides powerful health benefits to the body and spirit.
In this class, Temachtiani Akaxe Yotzin will teach us how to use our bioenergetic and physical systems, to achieve higher states of consciousness and health. And will guide us in meditations that are based on the Ancestral Knowledge & Tonalpohualli (calendar system).
Classes are every Sunday from 4-5:30pm via zoom
