As we now enter the final season of this Tekpatl year, we enter into the final stages of the profound work that this Tlalpilli represented. A time of will-power & reflection, of going deep within ourselves, it is a time to achieve the final arrows needed to ensure a strong foundation for the beginning of the new Tlalpilli in Ze Kalli.
Tlazohkamati to everyone who is a part of this profound work that we are doing together. From the self-healing, to the danza, from the ceremonies, to the Ikniuhyotl and the Native Arts & Sciences of Chikomostok Academy.
We are truly grateful to do this work with every one of you.

In this next semester we will continue to de-colonize our minds as we learn new concepts that allow us to empower and guide ourselves to holistic health.
Through experiential activities, guided introspection, breathing exercises & self-analysis, we will learn how to begin applying the knowledge, disciplines & concepts the ancient mesoamerican cultures developed to maintain holistic health.
This ceremony is a rite of passage for those who wish to recommit or begin the process of expanding their ears in the ancient mesoamerican traditions, which signified the responsibility and commitment to learning and service.
This ceremony will be on Ze Ehekatl, Sat Jan 26th, 6-7pm at Kalmekak, 5133 W 25th St Cicero IL. Please email us if you would like to be a part of this for further instructions.

Many of us purchased and constantly used the beautiful calendar that Vianey Valdez created last year. She and Akaxe Yotzin are currently working on next year's calendar. They've been working hard drawing the symbols for Ze Kalli and have also redesigned the layout.
