This highly anticipated course is back. In this course we will learn not only about the Kalpulli system of organizing society but the social, political, economic, educational and familial organization systems predominant in ancient mesoamerica. Through analysis of various historical texts we will gain insight into their psychology, philosophy, spirituality & holistic health. This course will allow us to gain a clearer & realistic perspective of the benefits & challenges of societies in Ancient Mesoamerica so that we can gather what we can learn and apply today. This is a course for those of us who are looking not only to modify and improve the current systems, but to create new and alternative ways of organizing ourselves, our communities, food, education and political systems. We will be studying both precolonial & postcolonial codexes, manuscripts & written accounts of the various ancient nations of Anahuak. It is recommended to have a kindle account so that you can download some of the texts we will be using.
