Native Music Ensemble Class

Synchronizing is key when harmonizing with the cycles of nature, and music is a reflection of that harmony. In this class we will bring together the primary elements of Native Music, the Huehuetl, standing drum, Panhuehuetl, hand drum, Tapizahuatl, basic native flute, Teponaztli, percussion instrument, Ayacachtli, rattles, & Atekokolli, the conch shell.

These will be our primary focuses at the beginning, and will add more elements in the future, instruments, songs, & danza as we move forward with the essence of Huehuekoyotl & synchronize together!

When, Where, Who & How

This class is currently held on Mondays during Danza, 730-930pm.

**This class will not be teaching basics, but will be focusing on bringing together those who already have a background in music or with these instruments to synchronize... there will however be beginners instrument classes again in the future!
